Kolkata skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected the ball first. Mumbai Indians scored 155 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Mumbai Indians scored 56/0 runs in the powerplay, Rohit Sharma (33) and Quinton de Kock made 78 runs partnership for 1st Wicket. Quinton de Kock scored 55 runs from 42 balls. Lockie Ferguson 2/27 and Prasidh Krishna 2/43 were the main wickets taker for the KKR.

Chasing a target of 155 runs, KKR both openers Venkatesh Iyer and Shubman Gill start his Innings with a SIX versus Trent Boult. Kolkata scored 63/1 runs in the powerplay. Maiden IPL Fifty for Venkatesh Iyer. He scored 53 runs from 30 balls, and Rahul Tripathi scored 74 runs from 42 balls. Kolkata achieved the target after lost three wickets in just 15.1 over. Jasprit Bumrah 3/43 were the main wickets taker for the Mumbai.
