Olympics 2021: PV Sindhu wins bronze to become the only Indian female with two Olympic medals

26-year-old PV Sindhu has created history after beating He Bing Jiao by 2-0 in the bronze medal fixture to become the first ever Indian female to win two Olympic medals. The ace shuttler with the scores of 21-13, 21-15 managed to clinch bronze, becoming the second only Indian to win a medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics.


The Rio Olympic silver medalist, who suffered a lost against Tai Tzu Ying in the semi final, managed to end her campaign on a high note with a remarkable victory in the 3rd place match. 

Carrying the hopes of millions in India, the golden girl of Indian badminton has stamped her authority among the all time greats the sport has ever produced.
