Rowing
LWT Men’s Double Sculls Final B: 
Arjun Lal & Arvind Singh finish 5th (5 teams) in Final B clocking 6:29.66; finishing 11th overall. This is India’s best ever showing in Rowing. Earlier Best: Dattu Bhokanal finished 13th at Rio 2016.


Golf
Anirban Lahiri carded 4-under 67 to be tied-8th, and Udayan Mane carded 5-over 76 to be at last spot (60th).

Shooting
25m Pistol Women’s Qual. Precision: 
Manu Bhaker at 5th spot | 292-9x pts. Rahi Sarnobat at 25th spot | 287-12x pts. Rapid round scheduled for tomorrow. Total 44 shooters | 8 will Qualify for Final (scheduled for tomorrow)

Hockey
Men’s Pool A – India confirm their spot in QF after BEATING reigning Olympic Champions Argentina 3-1 in their 4th Pool match.

Badminton
Women’s Singles Round of 16: 

P V Shindu storms to the quarter-final. Shindu won in straight games 21-15, 21-13 against Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt to book a spot in the next round

Archery
Men’s Individual 1/32 Eliminations

Atanu Das moves into 2nd round with 6-4 win over Taipei archer DENG Yu-Cheng. Atanu Das stuns former Olympic & World Champion Oh Jinhyek of South Korea 6-5 in 2nd round and is now through to Pre-QF. Shoot-off decided the final result.

Laser Men Race 07& 08 – Sailor Vishnu Saravanan finished 27th in Race 7 and 23rd in Race 8, finishing 23rd overall.

Men’s Skiff – 49er Race 5-6 Results: Indian pair of K C Ganapathy and Varun A Thakkar climb the ladder to claim 16th place in Race 5 and 7th place in Race 6. Bravo team 

Sailing
Women’s Laser Radial Race 7-8 Results: Nethra finished 22nd and 20th in Race 7 and 8 to be placed 31st overall.

Boxing
Men’s Super Heavy (+91kg) – Prel – R16 – Satish Kumar (+91kg) has made his way to the #boxing quarter-finals with a 4:1 win over Ricardo Brown of Jamaica 

Boxing
Women’s Fly (48-51kg) – Prel – R16: 
Mary Kom gave her absolute best before going down to reigning Olympic Bronze medalist Ingrit Valencia by split verdict 2:3 in 2nd round (51kg). Quite sporting of Mary to welcome the decision with a smile and hugging her opponent.

Swimming
Men’s 100m Butterfly – Heat 2 – 
Sajan Prakash finished 46th overall (out of 55 swimmers). He clocked 53.45s in his Heat where he finished 2nd.Sajan’s PB: 53.27s. Only Top 16 swimmers qualified for Semis.
